This is a complete and working antique one day cuckoo clock that is in good overall condition, making it a fairly rare and very desirable clock to own. It was manufactured by the American Cuckoo Clock Co., Philadelphia, PA sometime prior to WWl. This famous American clock company purchased and imported German Black Forest internal workings, and for the most part manufactured their own cases. Some of the original label still remains.
This clock is mostly all original so you may find finish wear and possibly some minor roughness around the edges, but overall, for being nearly a hundred and twenty years old, its antique, rustic appearance is quite nice. It appears to have been recoated with a darker finish many years ago.
The overall measurements are approximately 17 ½" high (not including the large weights and pendulum) x 13 1/2" wide across the top piece.
